Four more original novellas! The world may actually be ending this time. Amid a vampire breakout, some heroes find themselves overworked and working during all hours of the day. Others, like the illustrious Striker, are limited to daylight only.

Dive into four new original novellas in the Striker universe! The world isn’t ending this time, so Neil Harris, the fifth superhero to bear the name Striker, can put his feet up and breathe a little easier. Even though there’s no apocalypse, there’s still plenty of work to be done, and the stakes are more personal than ever for four of Neil’s closest friends and colleagues.

HEROES have long been the protectors of humanity. These days, they find themselves under the employ of the government. Sure, the pay and benefits are good, but their jobs are high-stress and require long hours. As a result, Neil Harris, the fifth Hero to bear the name Striker, finds his work-life balance in shambles. Every day, Neil struggles to deal with a demanding workload, maintaining his relationship, and finding time to simply relax. Something is going to give soon, and he feels like it might just be him.

Memory is a funny thing. Chances are that you can’t recall what you had for lunch two days ago, but can remember with startling clarity that super embarrassing incident from high school. You know the one. Having been a superhero all his life, Neil Harris, the illustrious Striker, does not remember every fight and battle. When the strange, dangerous, and unexpected is routine, it all blends together. Then one incident leaves him unable to remember anything about it at all. For Neil’s husband, Evan Hill, the past is something he actively tries to forget.

THE WORLD IS BROKEN That is the conclusion Neil Harris comes to when the cause of a routine mission comes to light. There are some problems far too large for superheroes to solve. Or so they’re told. That thesis is challenged by an unlikely source: Neil Harris himself. A year and a half after a multiversal implosion known as the Striker Snapback, one of Neil's nearly 4,000 variants has solved many of his world's problems. His solution to systemic issues is elegant, simple, and tempting despite its high price.
