Caesar lives on a farm with his owner, Lori. Caesar is a retriever who loves playing in the field of bluebells while protecting the farm. Lori puts two gnomes in her garden for decoration. Caesar knows the gnomes are involved. Can Caesar find the Queen and fix the mess?

The school careers of two teenage girls who lived across town from each other - one black, one white - were altered by a court-ordered desegregation plan for Durham, NC in 1970. LaHoma and Cindy both found themselves at the same high school from different sides of a court-ordered racial “balancing act”. This plan thrust each of them involuntarily out of their comfort zones and into new racial landscapes. Their experiences, recounted in alternating first-person narratives, are the embodiment of desegregation policies, situated in a particular time and place.

PTSD: No Apologies is a powerful anthology of personal stories and poems. Many of the stories were by those whose lives have been affected by PTSD. Collectively, they demonstrate what happens when an individual has been exposed to horrifying situations that stick in the memory...refuse to leave...and are constantly relived, again and again.

Rhymes Through Time is the third poetry book by Cindy. It offers a sample of her first two books as well as a future book. You will not find sex, violence, blood, or gore nor will you find vampires, zombies, or ghosts. You will find poems about fleeting and elusive moments captured in rhyme through the sands of time.

Fear. Anger. Guilt These words are repeated over and over throughout this book. Every day is a constant battle for many. A battle to survive. How can you battle your own mind? PTSD Inner Demons, like its forerunner, PTSD No Apologies, contains emotional stories of PTSD survival. PTSD is not limited to combat veterans only. Anyone who has faced intense trauma or abuse is at risk. YOU are NOT alone.
