Unlike other Reiki books that are filled with techniques you can’t yet use, The Perfect Reiki Course instead answers all of the questions people typically have before attending a Reiki course. Drawing on over a decade’s experience working as a full-time Reiki teacher, Jeremy O’Carroll knows the questions prospective students have, and he knows the issues that they often neglect to consider. With The Perfect Reiki Course in hand, you’ll have all the knowledge you need to find the Reiki course that is just right for you.

The Divine Companion was the last work completed by James Allen and was published posthumously in 1919. Of the book, Allen himself wrote: "It is the story of my soul, and should be read last of all my books, so that the student may understand and find my message in its pages. Therefore hold it back until you have published everything else." The book is divided into three sections: The Divine Companion, The Divine Dialogue and The Divine Messages. The first section is an exploration of various aspects of truth.

This collection of aphorisms and reflections for each day of a 31-day month was first published in 1909, and later reissued in 1913, after the author's death, with a preface by his wife Lily Allen.

James Allen (1864-1912) was one of the pioneers of the New Thought movement, the primary aim of which was to fuse the principles of psychology, philosophy, and religion into a protocol that could be applied to everyday life. Allen's works, in particular the celebrated treatise on the power of thought, As a Man Thinketh, have become established classics of motivational literature and have provided the foundation material for many programs in the self-help industry.

It cannot be said of this book that James Allen wrote it at any particular time or in any one year, for he was engaged in it over many years and those who have eyes to see and hearts to understand will find in its pages the spiritual history of his life. It was his own wish that The Divine Companion should be the last MS of his to be published.
