It’s go day! Time for Lila to rescue her grandmother from a planet that is so inhospitable no one goes there. No one but the hard-as-nails Halla harvesters, but it turns out they have a secret weapon. And it’s that secret weapon that Lila needs to convince to help them.

I keep waiting for things to settle down, but my to-do list just keeps getting longer and longer. I’ve got a grandma to rescue from a planet infested with carnivorous flora and fauna, a Warlock whom I desperately want to bond with, and a tribunal with the Vilaxian clan to deal with. The prospect of the Big Match draws in a street urchin with a wonderful talent for kicking a tin can, a maker of jolly good pies, a dim but beautiful young woman who might just turn out to be the greatest fashion model there has ever been, and the mysterious Mr Nutt.
