The Leah Blayney era begins this weekend as the Calgary Wild host the Montreal Roses at McMahon Stadium. We preview this match and also talk about the new Canadian women's club championship. In this tournament, the Wild will play host to a semi-pro team from Quebec and the match will be at Spruce Meadows.

Our interview is with Massi Djabali, who plays for Villains in the APL. He is a veteran player with the club who has a long career playing professionally in Algeria and France. We talk about his football journey, moving to Calgary and how he joined Villains.

Our interview this week is with Calgary goalkeeper Leah Parsons. She currently plays in the NCAA at the University of Alabama Birmingham and has also suited up for Foothills in this summer's Alberta Premier League. She has also been involved with Cavalry FC this summer as she has been doing an internship for school.

We review Alberta Premier League matches from earlier this week, including that big matchup between Foothills and Blizzard which Scott and Jason attended. We also preview this weekend's matches, including a doubleheader in Airdrie on Friday evening.
