• Energetic Psychology and PTSD
    Feb 17 2021

You do not need long hours of therapy, sophisticated drugs or elaborate procedures to remove trauma or negative patterns in your behavior (paraphrased from Dr. Peter Levine).

In this episode we peel back the layers of how attitudes, beliefs, thought patterns and trauma are stored in our physiological anatomy and how to remove them.

I give a few examples, one of which was a veteran whose thoughts of suicide were removed in our first session (which only included about 10 minutes of Pranic Healing).

People average about 60,000 thoughts per day.

    80% or more are RECYCLED.

Think for a moment if you took back your power and reclaimed that 80%, or even just half of it. Your life trajectory would be ratcheted up off the charts.

Get off autopilot. Say Hell No to the default programmed mindset.

    And Live on Purpose.

  • Veterans and Anger - A not so uncommon combo
    Feb 4 2021

Anger, irritation, frustration and impatience suck the life, vitality, and potential out of people. Many don’t realize just how much their thoughts, emotions, words and actions are intertwined with passive or active forms of anger. They may unknowingly parade around their whole day peppering people and situations with this angsty, less-than mentality.

Today we rip off the band-aid and get to the bottom of this mess of half-asssery. We discuss what’s going on underneath the surface of anger and it’s many forms (especially the passive forms), why and how those tendencies are created and what to do about it so you can strive towards greater mastery and excellence. Basically, to cut the crap and be a better human.

Ultimately, so you can stop defaulting into passive or active anger modes, take back your power, Gain Greater Freedom, and Live on Purpose.

  • One of the Biggest Issues Veterans Face
    Jan 13 2021

This is one of the biggest issues veterans face. Yet, no one is talking about it, leaving it to go unnoticed by nearly all.

Veterans don’t see it. Psychologists don’t see it. Yet, it’s the thing staring us right in the face. It was there from the beginning. It’s never left us. We unknowingly harbor it, and even embrace it, cling to it with pride and ferocity at times. While it eats away at us and limits our ability to live and thrive.

It took literal years and thousands of veterans over thousands of hours of focused clinical therapy (A LOT of hard-ass work) to finally pinpoint this MASSIVE yet hidden pattern almost all veterans seem to share. This is a synthesis of their voices, their stories, and their hard and often emotional work. Don’t let it go to waste.

This is why we’re here. This is why the time has been sacrificed to compile and share this vitally important information to help other veterans maximize who and what they are.

Again, these insights aren’t going to be found anywhere else because not many others have been and continue to stay in the trenches with these grunts. So check it out. And if you find value, please, pay it forward, share and subscribe.

  • Introduction - What's this all about
    Jan 4 2021

Warriorship is a compilation of tools, techniques and principles drafted from the thousands of veterans I've worked with in both therapy and coaching.

Many have said something akin to: "The real war began when I got home."

"The real war" these veterans are referencing is the inner one.

Warriorship is foucsed on Self-Mastery and Resiliency.

Any issue we have, internal or external, is a reflection of an underdeveloped character trait (or traits).

It's the goals in our lives that give direction, but it's the character, virtues and resilency that will get us there. Which is why goal setting (and raising our standards) is so vitally important; the goals we have inform the qualities we must forge to achieve those goals.

A goal may not matter 10 years post achievement, but what matters tremendously are the qualities it took to get there. That's the gold. It's who we become along the way that matters.

These ideas and more are what's shared in this first episode.

    Also included:

-the two requirements to continue this conversation

-veterans as a backbone of the Nation and World

-two examples of common veteran's issues and their origin
