This episode is about shifting how you look at that moment. Because what goes up must come down, and nothing, good or bad, stays still forever. Instead of seeing another difficult season as proof that nothing will ever change, what if you looked at it as your opportunity to finally study the cycle?
Not through the grace of God this time, but through the grace of a lesson.
You have been given another chance to look back at the last five or ten times you experienced the same outcome and ask yourself: What remained the same? Who was still around me? What habits, attachments, environments, family dynamics, fears, or inherited beliefs were still present every time I fell?
Then comes the real work. Changing what you already know is holding you back.
When we compare today to the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, many people were not being taught that they had the ability or even the birthright to create a reality beyond what they were born into. They were not always encouraged to dream bigger, establish boundaries, remove toxic people, or build a life outside of what their families had already accepted.
Many previous generations survived trauma by adapting to it. They fought the cycle until they became tired, settled into it, and unknowingly passed it down. Their children were often expected to endure the same struggles simply because their parents had endured them first.
But this generation is speaking up. We are naming what happened inside our households, confronting what was normalized, and deciding that survival is not the only reality available to us.
Sometimes you have to look at the generation before you as a blockage. Not because every person before you was intentionally against you, but because some of the fears, limitations, trauma, and beliefs they carried were passed directly into your life.
You now have the opportunity to ask: What exists within me that did not begin with me? What relationships, choices, and circumstances were created from what I inherited? What needs to be removed so that I do not keep producing the same outcome?
Friends who do not respect your boundaries. Family members who joke about your growth because they are uncomfortable with it. People who disguise jealousy as humor by saying, “Oh, you think you’re better than us now,” simply because you started a business, earned a degree, opened a salon, or decided to want more for yourself.
Their inability to imagine a larger life does not determine the size of yours.
You are not required to remain inside a recycled reality forever. But when you stop trying, you eventually settle, and settling keeps the cycle alive.
This is your moment to recognize what has repeated, remove what has remained the same, and create a different outcome.
