• 385. Women Who Did: Survived a Heart Attack, featuring Edie
    Feb 23 2026

In hindsight, Edie can see the warning signs leading up to her heart attack. But in the moment, the self-described workaholic finished her drive home, called work to cancel clients, and only then headed to the hospital.

At 55, despite exercising regularly, Edie survived heart attack that forced her to confront the cost of chronic stress, sleep deprivation, and unrelenting responsibility.

In this episode, Edie shares what recovery really looked like—physically, emotionally, and psychologically—and how learning to rest, set boundaries, and accept support quite literally changed (and saved) her life.

Her story is one of resilience, reckoning, and redefining what it means to take care of yourself, especially for women who are used to carrying everything.

  • 384. {Bite-Sized Episode} Introducing the Women Who Did series
    Feb 19 2026

The To Your Health podcast is kicking off a new series called Women Who Did, featuring everyday women who followed through on something meaningful, not because they’re extraordinary, but because they decided to try.

In this short intro episode, I share why I stepped away from expert interviews, how this idea came together, and what surprised me most when I asked women to nominate themselves (spoiler: almost no one thought their accomplishments were “big enough”).

This series is about showing what’s possible when regular women commit, follow through, and stop downplaying what they’ve done. And maybe inspiring you to do the same

  • 383. How to Get What You Want More Easily with Paul Quinn
    Feb 16 2026

Paul Quinn joins me to talk about why asking for what you want feels so uncomfortable for so many people—and how much we leave on the table because of it. We explore the idea of the “big ask,” why people often want to be asked more than we realize, and how clarity and respect can completely change the outcome of a request.

Paul shares real-life stories that show how asking can strengthen relationships, open doors, and help us better understand our own needs.

We also talk about how to handle hearing “no” without taking it personally, and why asking is empowering even when the answer isn’t yes.

Paul Quinn's career spans professional acting, corporate writing and training, and executive presentation coaching. He writes The Big Ask Blog and is the author of the recently released book, "The Big Ask: Unlock the Possibilities in Your Work, Life & Dreams with Courageous Requests." In it, he shares inspiring lessons and true stories that reveal how learning to ask--boldly and smartly--can unlock extraordinary opportunities.Check out his website: bigaskbook.comConnect on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/paul-quinn-bigaskbook/

  • 380. {Bite-Sized Episode} An Argument For Doing Extreme Things
    Feb 5 2026

Yes, I'm actually making a case for doing things that might feel “extreme”, not for the sake of pushing limits endlessly, but because of how those experiences can permanently change what feels hard.

I talk about why “extreme” is relative to the person, and how challenges that stretch you can recalibrate your perspective on effort, discomfort, and what you’re capable of.

This episode isn’t about being reckless or living at the extremes, it’s about how intentionally doing hard things can build confidence that carries into other areas of your life and makes future challenges feel more manageable.

    Jan 29 2026

In this episode, I talk about a simple mindset shift that makes follow-through easier: learning how to make tomorrow easier by doing small favors for your future self.

We often assume future us will be more motivated or have more time, but she’s just as busy as you are now.

I share why relying on willpower backfires and how small, everyday actions that reduce friction build self-trust and consistency.

Over time, this way of thinking naturally scales to bigger habits like workouts, meal prep, and following through on what matters.
