Do you long for time to spend with Jesus? Have you found yourself needing a hug from your husband, so you feel wanted? Do you feel guilty wishing there was more to your life than wiping noses and doing dishes? Are you drowning in the responsibilities of just being Mom? Do you wonder why your pre-mom routines are no longer working?

I am so excited that you are here! This podcast will help find peace with the time you do have, start rebuilding routines you need to stay sane, invite you to see yourself how God sees you, and find joy in motherhood.
Hi, I’m Cheryl! Wife, SAHM of two girls, Mom Mentor and Jesus follower. For years, I struggled to fit myself into the same routines, spiritual habits and identity I had as a newly married woman.
I was frustrated, discouraged and depressed when all I felt at the end of the day was worthless because I couldn’t accomplish all the things I used to be able to do.
I finally realized in trying to meet everyone’s needs except my own, I had forgotten who I was and, if I was going to have any joy in motherhood, I had to discover who I had become.
I had to rediscover my identity, prioritize my mental, spiritual, and even physical health so I could be the mom my girls needed.
If you’re ready to ditch the mom guilt for peace, find Jesus in the middle of the dishes, and love yourself like your babies do, this podcast is for you.
Grab your ear pods and start folding laundry, this is Time for Mom.

  • 108 | SAHM on the Edge of Burnout? Why You’re Exhausted — and How to Stop
    Sep 9 2026
Do you ever feel like your SAHM routines are wearing you down faster than motherhood itself? Have you caught yourself comparing your capacity to another mom’s and then spiraling into mom guilt because your priorities don’t look like hers? Are you protecting everything except the parts of you that build self-esteem — and wondering why you feel exhausted even when you’re doing “all the right things”? If so, you’re in the right place. Hi, Beautiful! I’m Cheryl — wife, SAHM, Coach and Mom Mentor. I learned the not‑so‑secret ways to become the mom my girls needed by prioritizing Jesus, building simple routines that supported my priorities, rejecting mom guilt, and discovering what self‑esteem and self‑worth really look like in everyday motherhood. In Time for Mom, we have honest conversations about comparison, practical devotional moments, and encouragement you can tuck into the cracks of your day. If you’re ready to build faith while washing dishes, rediscover your identity, and love yourself the way your babies already do — grab your earbuds and lock the bathroom door for a minute alone. It’s Time for Mom. In this episode, we talk about why motherhood can feel like walking on concrete — everything wears you down faster than you expect. Just like socks and shoes break down on rough ground, your daily life has smooth places and rough places that thin you out. Some seasons feel gentle. Others scrape you raw. And if you don’t know how to protect your capacity, you burn out long before you realize what’s happening. Life wears you down like concrete — even the good parts. Some seasons rub you thin fast. You can’t avoid burnout without real rest. Knowing your limits keeps you whole. Your wear pattern is unique — stop comparing. Protect what matters most or you’ll wear out faster. • 107 | 5 Ways to Restore Marriage When You’re Overwhelmed and Burned Out - Devotional
    Sep 4 2026
Do you let your kids, friends, family and external influences reshape your routines and priorities in ways that pull you and your husband apart instead of keeping your marriage healthy and connected? Have you checked in with your husband lately — really checked in — or have you been giving the “easy” answers instead of the honest ones? Are you proactive in your marriage or has SAHM life led you into complacency? In this episode, I’m sharing the small, consistent ways you can fight for your marriage every day so you can stay connected, stay united, and keep anything that tries to wedge itself between you and your husband from taking root. Conversation Check‑In Questions for Your Marriage: “Are we in a healthy place or are we feeling distanced from each other?” “When was the last time I kissed my husband?” “When was the last time I told him I thought he was handsome?” “When was the last time I told him that I appreciated him because of who he is?” “When my husband asks me something, am I being honest with him or giving the answer I think he wants?” “Is there anything you think needs worked on in our marriage?” Key Takeaways: >Small, consistent actions protect your marriage more than big, dramatic fixes — daily choices keep distance from creeping in. >Marriage only has room for three: you, your husband, and God. >Communication is the heartbeat of a healthy marriage. >Respect is a healing posture, even in conflict — a gentle answer deflects anger and opens the door to healthy conversations. >Money is one of the loudest threats to marriage. >Work is good, but it cannot become the #1 priority. >Family influence must be balanced with marital unity. >Fight for your marriage, not against your husband. Unite with the Lord and let Him fight on your behalf. • 106 | Are Your Routines Draining Your Joy? Rediscover the Wonder in Motherhood
    Sep 2 2026
Do you ever feel so calloused or exhausted that you’ve forgotten the wonder God is trying to show you through your kids? Have you realized that the things your kids pull you into — the wonder, the discomfort, the newness — might be the very places God is trying to soften your heart again? Are you so deep in the frustration and noise of motherhood that you’re missing the gift God is trying to give you through this season? In this episode, I’m sharing how motherhood lets you see life through a completely new lens so you can rediscover wonder, find purpose in the hard moments, and remember that God is shaping you just as much as you’re shaping your kids. Motherhood makes the world new again — God uses our kids to reopen our eyes to beauty, wonder, and the miracles we’ve grown numb to. Comparison steals joy and dulls wonder — but seeing life through your children restores your self‑worth and softens the calloused parts of adulthood. Motherhood is a second chance — a chance to rewrite routines, priorities, and generational patterns with intention and faith. Kids pull us out of our comfort zones — helping us experience things we’d never choose but desperately need for growth and healing. Motherhood reveals the “why” behind our parents’ choices — giving us compassion, clarity, and a deeper understanding of family legacy. This season is hard, holy, and refining — God uses motherhood to shape you just as much as you shape your children. You’re not failing — you’re being formed — even when you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or tempted to give up. Don’t stop fighting for connection — keep trying new routines, new approaches, and new rhythms until you find what brings peace instead of friction. Motherhood is a gift even when it feels maddening — God is present in the frustration, the stretching, and the moments that break you open.
