• Jump the Fence: Discovering Freedom in Faith, Work, and God’s Calling with Jon Coss
    Oct 19 2026

What if the path we’ve been faithfully running isn’t the one God is asking us to run?

In this episode of The Unbridled Creative, we sit down with Jon Coss, entrepreneur, husband, father of four, and founder of WaWai Partners, to explore what happens when faith leads us beyond the life we thought we were supposed to live.

Jon’s journey took him from studying social work and serving in vocational ministry to moving his family to Indonesia, where he discovered a new way to live out his calling through entrepreneurship. But the biggest leap wasn’t moving across the world. It was learning to let go of the belief that serving God and building a profitable business had to be two separate things.

Through unexpected failures, difficult transitions, and the wisdom of his Indonesian friends, Jon began to see work as worship and business as an opportunity to serve people, create jobs, and make a meaningful difference. He also learned the importance of surrendering control, listening to truth-tellers, and giving himself and others grace along the way.

Together, we explore how pride, fear, and our own expectations can keep us running someone else’s race. Jon reminds us that we don’t have to get everything right before we move forward. We can recalibrate, embrace the lessons in failure, and trust God with the process.

If we’ve been standing at the fence, wondering whether we’re allowed to take a different path, this conversation is an invitation to look beyond our own plans and see where God might be leading. We weren’t created simply to avoid brokenness. We were created to live freely, serve generously, and participate in what God is doing in the world.

    Break Free Blueprint (Today’s Takeaway)

Stop trying to run someone else’s race.

Seek the truth. Invite trusted friends and family to speak honestly into our lives, even when the truth challenges our plans.

Release control. We don’t have to build God’s kingdom on our own. We get to participate in what He is already doing.

Give ourselves permission to pivot. When our perspective changes, we can change direction, learn from failure, and move forward in faith.

Turn our work into worship. Whatever our calling looks like, we can serve people, create value, and honor God through the way we work.

Our next step: Ask God where we might be holding on to someone else’s expectations, then take one faithful step toward the life He is inviting us to live.

  • When Life Gets Messy: Taking the Leap and Trusting God’s Perspective
    Oct 13 2026

Life doesn’t always go according to plan, even when we’re walking in our calling. In this short, honest conversation, Laura and Trent share what the past few months have looked like behind the scenes, from unexpected injuries and learning to slow down to stepping into new ventures that require faith, patience, and courage.

Laura opens up about how physical setbacks have challenged the way she sees herself, her health, and her business. Trent shares the journey behind Wayborn, a new technology company designed to help entrepreneurs simplify marketing, connect with the right people, and build their businesses with greater confidence. Both remind us that we’re all works in progress, learning to honor our seasons and trust God through the uncertainty.

If we’ve ever stood at the fence, knowing God is calling us toward something new but feeling unsure about the next step, Trent’s story offers a powerful reminder: sometimes we have to move forward in faith before we can see the path clearly. We may not have God’s full perspective, but we can keep praying, listening, and taking the next step He puts in front of us.

We’re not sharing this because we have everything figured out. We’re sharing it because we’re in the mess, too. And we want to keep walking alongside one another as we learn to follow God’s calling, embrace the unexpected, and become who He created us to be.

    Break Free Blueprint (Today’s Takeaway)

We don’t need the whole plan to take the next faithful step.

    - Pause and listen. Make room to pray and seek God’s perspective when life feels uncertain.

    - Honor your season. Recognize when it’s time to slow down, adjust, or approach things differently.

    - Take the leap. Move forward in obedience, even when you can’t see the entire path.

We may only see what’s right in front of us, but God sees the bigger picture. Let’s trust Him enough to take the next step.

  • You’re Already Standing in the Middle of Your Calling with J. Randall Gladden
    Oct 5 2026

What if your calling isn’t something waiting for you in the future—but something God has already placed right in front of you?

In this episode, we sit down with J. Randall Gladden to unpack a powerful shift in perspective: calling isn’t primarily what we do; it’s what we apply. Every assignment, season, relationship, workplace, and opportunity can become a place where we apply what God has placed within us for the benefit of others.

Randy shares honestly about seasons when following God meant letting go of success, identity, comfort, and certainty. Through those wilderness seasons, he discovered that the wilderness isn’t necessarily where God is absent—it can be the very place where we learn to hear Him more clearly and develop the capacity to carry what He wants to entrust to us.

Together, we explore what it means to move from being consumers to governors, to see our work as ministry, and to understand that what God gives us is not simply for ourselves. Our businesses, gifts, resources, influence, and opportunities are entrusted responsibilities meant to flourish, create opportunity, bless others, and extend into the next generation.

If you’ve been standing at the fence, waiting for clarity, confirmation, or the “right” opportunity before taking the next step, this conversation is an invitation to look again. You may already be standing in the middle of your calling.

    Break Free Blueprint (Today’s Takeaway)
Stop waiting for the perfect assignment. Start being faithful with the one in front of you.

    Ask:

    - What has God already entrusted to us?
    - How can we apply what He has placed in us for the benefit of others?
    - Where is He asking us to trust Him instead of judging His will by our circumstances?

Our job is faithfulness. We apply ourselves, listen for the Holy Spirit’s direction, and keep moving forward. God is responsible for the results.

  • The Labels We Carry: Breaking Free from Labels with Daniel Curtis
    Jul 21 2026

What happens when the labels others place on us become the identity we begin to believe?

In this deeply honest conversation, we sit down with Daniel Curtis as he shares the journey from a lonely, misunderstood child to someone who found the courage to step onto stages, speak to thousands, and help others discover their own voice. Together, we explore how rejection, bullying, abandonment, and the need for acceptance quietly shape our lives—and how healing begins when we stop believing the lies we've carried for years.

Daniel opens up about growing up feeling different, constantly adapting himself to earn love and friendship, only to realize he was losing sight of who God created him to be. We talk about the hidden impact of childhood wounds, the danger of living according to labels instead of truth, and why boundaries, authentic relationships, and honest self-reflection are essential for lasting transformation.

You'll also hear practical tools Daniel uses every day—including his simple but powerful Mood • Mission • Action framework—to interrupt negative thinking, take the next faithful step, and build momentum toward healing.

Most importantly, this episode reminds us that our worth has never been determined by other people's opinions. We don't have to stay trapped by fear, shame, or the expectations we've carried for years. Freedom begins when we choose truth over labels, faith over fear, and obedience over perfection.

Whether you've struggled with rejection, questioned your value, or simply long to find your voice again, we pray this conversation encourages you to keep walking toward the person God has always created you to be.

    Break Free Blueprint (Today's Takeaway)

When old labels begin to speak, answer them with truth—not feelings.

    This week:

Notice one limiting belief you've been carrying.
    Write it down.
Challenge it with what's actually true.
Ask God for the courage to take the next right step, not the next hundred.
Remember: small acts of obedience create lasting transformation.

Freedom rarely arrives all at once—it grows one faithful step at a time.

  • Revealing the Hidden Pain in Babies: A New Approach to Lifelong Health
    May 12 2026

We often think of the birth of a child as a fresh start—a blank slate of health and comfort. But what if many of the "normal" struggles we see in newborns, from colic to restless sleep, are actually cries of physical pain rooted in the womb? Today, we are joined once again by Ken Moench, author of the groundbreaking new book Every Baby Hurts.

Ken shares the powerful story of how his own grandchildren led him to a world-changing realization: the cramped quarters of the womb create "pre-birth postural deficits" that babies carry into the world. We explore how these hidden tensions don't just affect infants—they follow us into adulthood, manifesting as chronic pain, anxiety, and even depression. This conversation is a gentle invitation to stop normalizing discomfort and start seeking the "optimal" healing that God intended for our bodies, from our very first breath to the present day.

    Break Free Blueprint (Today’s Takeaway)
Audit the "Normal": This week, pay attention to the tension you’ve explained away as just "part of life" or "how I'm built." Bring those areas of chronic tightness to God in prayer, asking for discernment on whether you are settling for a "normal" state of pain instead of the "optimal" state of freedom He has for you.

  • How Marketing Works: Marketing is a System, Not a Campaign
    Apr 28 2026

If you’ve ever felt like your marketing is a constant cycle of trying, stopping, and starting over again… you’re not alone. We’ve seen it time and time again—business owners caught in the noise, chasing the next best thing, wondering why nothing seems to stick.

In this final Creative Spark of our How Marketing Works series, we invite you into a different way.

Because the truth is, marketing was never meant to feel chaotic. It was never meant to be a collection of random efforts, disconnected campaigns, or short bursts of hope followed by disappointment. What you’re really longing for is something deeper—something steady. A system.

We talk about what it looks like to move from reacting to building… from guessing to understanding… from scattered to connected. A system doesn’t just ask, “Did this work?” It asks, “Is this building momentum?”

And maybe most importantly, we remind you—you’re not meant to carry all of this alone. Your calling is to be excellent at what you do, to serve well, to show up with integrity. Marketing is simply the bridge that connects that calling to the people you’re meant to reach.

So if you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what to do next… this is your moment. Not to do more—but to see differently.

Because when you begin to see marketing as a system, something shifts. It stops feeling random… and starts becoming reliable.

    Break Free Blueprint (Today’s Takeaway)
    Pause before you pivot.

Instead of asking, “What should I try next?”
Ask, “What part of my system is missing?”

    Return to clarity:

    • Who are you called to serve?
    • Where are they?
    • What message truly resonates?
    • Where might they be slipping away?

Build with intention, not urgency—and trust God with the momentum.

  • What to Measure in Your Marketing: Redefining ROI as Return on Impact
    Apr 21 2026

We know how easy it is to sit in that tension—spending money on marketing and quietly asking, “Is this even working?” If you’ve ever felt that, this conversation is for you.

In this episode, we gently challenge the way most of us have been taught to measure success. Because the truth is, when we only look at sales, leads, and revenue, we’re only seeing the tip of the iceberg. We miss the quiet, faithful work happening beneath the surface—the impressions, the trust, the relationships, the moments that prepare a heart to say “yes.”

We walk through what it looks like to shift from return on investment to return on impact. To begin seeing marketing not as a quick transaction, but as a long, relational journey rooted in trust, consistency, and service.

Together, we explore the unseen layers that actually move your business forward—being seen by the right people, building credibility, showing up as a trusted resource, and creating meaningful engagement that lingers long before a purchase is made.

Because people don’t buy when we’re ready… they buy when they’re ready.

And when we learn to honor that timing, everything changes. The pressure lifts. The second-guessing fades. And we begin to see marketing for what it truly is—an investment in people, in relationships, and in the long-term impact we’re called to make.

If you’ve been standing at the fence, wondering if your efforts matter… this is your invitation to see the full story.

    Break Free Blueprint (Today’s Takeaway)
Redefine ROI as Return on Impact.

Instead of asking, “Did this make me money today?”

    Ask:
    • Am I being seen by the right people?
    • Am I building trust and engagement?
    • Am I serving before I sell?

Measure the leading indicators faithfully—and trust that the results will follow in time.
