What happens when loss, music, and meaningful coincidences collide? Opera singer Karli Forte joins Dr. Bernard Beitman for a deeply personal conversation about grief, synchronicity, and the mysterious ways the universe speaks through signs, songs, and perfectly timed encounters.Order Dr. Beitman's newest book "Life-Changing Synchronicities: A Doctor's Coincidences and Serendipities" at Simon & Schuster, Barnes and Noble, Inner Traditions, Amazon, Books-a-Million, Bookshop.org (May 2025).Karli Forte didn’t expect a book on signs to lead her to Dr. Bernard Beitman. But just days after losing her father, she opened Laura Lynne Jackson’s Signs and saw a familiar name—Beitman’s—while sitting alone in Charlottesville, where she’d come to perform in Scalia/Ginsburg. She reached out, and what followed was a series of shared synchronicities that neither could ignore. In this heartfelt episode, Karli and Dr. Beitman reflect on the timing of her father's passing (February 27th), which happens to also be Beitman's birthday and the date of his own father's death. Their conversation explores grief, connection, and how moments of alignment can bring comfort when we need it most.Karli shares the powerful experience of walking beside a four-foot-long fish on the beach the day after her father's funeral—a moment that felt like a message from beyond. Together, they discuss what it means to trust the signs, to act on intuition, and to find healing through synchronicity. This episode is a celebration of shared humanity, the healing power of music, and the mysterious threads that connect us all.Karli Forte is a Coloratura Soprano based in New York City. She studied at Indiana University, performed internationally, and has appeared in leading roles including Ruth Bader Ginsburg in Scalia/Ginsburg.
