The gang's all here as Lachie joins Josh, Nick and Ivka in the Content Hype studio for the final podcast of the 2026 NPL Victoria season!

Avondale are crowned champions in a dramatic penalty shootout, after holding premiers Oakleigh to a scoreless draw. We review their rollercoaster season that ended in a perfect swansong for departing head coach Jonatan Germano and star striker Bruno Fornaroli - who sacrificed a move to another Australian Championship club to play in the decider.

Plus, there's physics-defying penalties, legal proceedings, our BOLD predictions for 2027, and one final musical masterpiece from Maestro Flannigan.

Lachie, Nick, Josh & Ivka are joined by commentator Teo Pellizzeri to discuss South Melbourne's comeback win over Lions FC in front of a bumper Lakeside crowd, setting up a dream Australia Cup final against Melbourne Victory.

Then, the usual four dive deep into the weekend's NPL Victoria semi finals, featuring premature fireworks, last-minute missed penalties, another virtuoso performance from Blake Carpenter, and 39-year-old Bruno Fornaroli showing why he's the most committed and competitive player on the pitch.

Can Avondale's last dance end in a miracle Championship? Or will the mounting toll of injuries and the suspension of Yitay Towns be insurmountable against Chris Taylor's well-oiled Oakleigh machine?

Strap yourselves in for a 2-hour NPL Victoria extravaganza in our penultimate podcast of the season.

Josh, Nick and Lachie hold a memorial service for Preston's 2026 campaign, which came to an abrupt end on Saturday afternoon. Where did it go wrong for the Lions? How did Avondale turn their top six record around? And will Germano stay if they win the whole thing?

Then we turn our attention to a "lights out" performance by South Melbourne in the Greek Derby against Heidelberg. Despite finishing fourth, are Sinisa's side now title favourites?

Plus, there's in-depth previews of this week's so-called "preliminary" finals, and the VPL1 playoff semi finals, where Victory face Redbacks and Northcote host Bulleen on a bumper Friday night.

With the regular season in the books, Josh, Nick and Ivka grade the seasons of all the clubs who missed the finals, while Ivka has breaking news on Avondale's search for a new coach.

We pick through the debris of Altona's late equaliser to deny Preston a home final, and Heidelberg saving Ivka's bacon by squeezing into the six at the expense of Caroline Springs George Cross.

In VPL1, Brunswick Juventus are officially promoted to the top flight for the first time in 15 years, a stunning day at the Veneto Club is accompanied by a thrilling 10-man victory over Northcote City, and a late Knights collapse at The Web earns Eltham a playoff spot ahead of FC Melbourne Srbija.
