Don’t Let A Bad Day Move In 🚫🏨

Some days come with curveballs, unexpected energy, difficult people, and moments that can easily throw us off balance. But one bad day doesn’t mean you have a bad life and it definitely doesn’t deserve a permanent room in your mind.

In this episode, I’m sharing some of the simple funny things I personally do to redirect my energy and protect my peace. From getting natural light and changing my environment to knowing when it’s time to block someone and stop giving their energy access to me, these are the little things that help me reset when life starts feeling heavy.

Because sometimes you can’t control what happens around you, you can only control what you allow to stay.

So this episode is your reminder: bad day? No vacancy. Your peace has better things to do. 💜

  • FRIENDSHIP BREAKUPS: THE PAIN NO ONE TALKS ABOUT
    Aug 20 2026

Not every heartbreak comes from a romantic relationship.

Sometimes, it comes from losing a friend you thought would be there forever.

In Episode 7 of The Coco Effect, we’re getting real about friendship breakups the toxic friendships we outgrow, the ones we struggle to let go of, and the pain that comes with realizing someone you loved may not have valued the friendship the same way.

We’re talking friendship favoritism, gatekeeping, hidden animosity, jealousy, one-sided friendships, and the things people do that slowly destroy your self-worth and confidence.

Because sometimes, letting go isn’t about hating someone. It’s about finally choosing yourself.

This is the conversation about the friendships that hurt, the endings nobody talks about, and learning that losing someone doesn’t always mean you lost something.

Sometimes, you lost who was hurting you.

  • LOVE ME SOFTLY: THE MENTAL HEALTH BENEFITS OF FINDING YOUR PERSON
    Aug 12 2026

What happens when you find a love that feels like a safe place to land?

In Episode 6 of The Coco Effect, we’re stepping onto the court of love with a Love & Basketball-inspired theme to explore the mental health benefits of healthy love and meaningful connection.

Sometimes, finding your person isn’t about someone completing you it’s about finding someone who creates enough emotional safety for you to become more fully yourself. We’re talking about the mirror effect, the importance of healthy partnership and marriage, the power of emotional safety, and how supportive relationships can positively impact our mental and physical well-being—including helping to reduce stress and cortisol.

Because when two healthy people come together, the goal isn’t to lose yourself in love. It’s to feel safe enough to flourish in it.

This episode is a reminder that the right love shouldn’t make you smaller. It should give you room to grow, heal, laugh, be awkward, be vulnerable, and unapologetically be YOU.

🏀❤️ Love Me Softly because sometimes love is the safe space your heart needed all along.
