  • Season 7, Ep 11 – The Mark Messier Episode (Solo Dan, Hot Takes & Week 11 Mayhem)
    Nov 23 2025

Dan flies solo (with Rich on the dials) while Frank sits this one out. We kick off with why No. 11 belongs to Mark Messier and then jump into a spicy NBA segment: load management déjà vu, Draymond vs. courtside hecklers, and why fan-first vibes feel MIA. Quick touch on the NHL’s early days and college football’s playoff picture (SEC/Big Ten dominance, can the ACC sneak in?).

NFL dominates the back half: Shadur Sanders skepticism ahead of his first full start, then a full Week 11 rundown—Pats roll the Jets, Steelers hammer Cincy, Jags short-circuit the Chargers, Allen explodes in a Bills shootout, Bears stun the Vikes, Texans edge the Titans, Rams nip Seattle after four Darnold INTs, Niners cruise, Ravens handle Cleveland, Broncos dethrone the Chiefs, Eagles grind past Detroit on SNF, and Dallas wraps MNF in Vegas. Picks, lone-wolves, and plenty of Dan-ish gloating included.

  • Season 7, Ep 10 – The Pele Episode: World Series Wrap, NFL Week 10 Chaos & MLS Playoff Talk
    Nov 16 2025

Dan’s back from Virginia and the guys fess up about last week’s no-show before diving into a lively World Series recap: Dodgers go back-to-back in a ratings-rich seven-gamer, unsung contributors step up, and Vlad Jr. shines for Toronto. Hot-stove whispers start flying. NBA/NHL are just out of the gate (Frank’s calling a Knicks Finals run… Dan’s got a cheesesteak bet ready).

Then it’s a brisk tour of NFL Week 10: Colts edge the Falcons in Germany, Jets clip the Browns, Texans outduel the Jags, Dolphins boat-race the Bills, Pats handle Tampa, Bears top the Giants (Daboll out), Ravens over Vikings, Saints over Panthers, Seahawks shred the Cards, Lions roll Washington, Rams thump the Niners, Chargers cruise past the Steelers, and the Eagles win a 10–7 grinder in Green Bay. Standings, lone-wolf records, and a little friendly gloating included.

Email bag: Daniel Hooks checks in with the MLS playoffs (Union vs. NYCFC in a one-off at Subaru Park), league calendar changing to a July–May slate starting 2027–28, and USMNT November friendlies (Paraguay and Uruguay). Plus his zinger: Which Giants hire would actually scare a Cowboys fan?

  • Season 7, Ep 9 – Spooky World Series, Knicks Reality Check, and College Football Firings
    Nov 1 2025

It’s the spooky episode 👻 as Dan & Frank dive into World Series Game 6 live: Toronto leads L.A. 3–2 after swiping two in Chavez Ravine, the Dodgers’ bats have gone cold, and Yamamoto’s earlier masterpiece might be the only thing keeping them afloat. PTI’s take sparks a debate, Dodgers playing old-school AL “walk + blast” while the Blue Jays grind with contact (and timely pop). We gush over Ohtani’s once-in-a-century greatness, revisit why that ’93 Phillies run still hits different, and admit this Fall Classic has been sneaky fun, even for Dodger- and Canada-averse hearts.

NBA tipoff tangent: Draymond says the Knicks aren’t true contenders and we break down why Brunson’s ball dominance and the Towns fit might cap their ceiling. Then the college carousel gets scary: Penn State and LSU fire their head coaches mid-season, Drew Allar’s out, and Penn State stares down No. 1 Ohio State after a bye. Florida–Georgia talk (gulp), plus Dan’s dad turns 83, happy birthday!

We also peek behind the curtain in the “bomb shelter” studio (cough drops, power cords, and Panera SIP Club lore), shout out Fox Brothers Alarms, and read Daniel Hooks’ MLS playoff update (Philly cruising, NYCFC alive, Messi’s Miami rolling) with a Pelé Ballon d’Or trivia sting at the end.
