• Epigenetic's of trauma on the brain, And why we should heal it

    Today, we talked about the inheritance of trauma, and the lasting impact trauma has on the brain. We talked about different sections of your brain like amygdala, hippocampus, frontal cortex, and pre frontal, and more. And how trauma can literally change our brain, and the size of it, and cause sections to become in active. And if you struggle with wondering why you may lash out, or get mad at certain things, or triggers, trauma can literally change your brain, and this could be why you do certain things or act a certain way. Uncovering the past may be the best things for you. To live a happier life, and do look at your past and trauma, and it won't affect you anymore. You j look at it as like damn that happened, but it doesnt have a negative affect on you anymore. There are so many different ways to heal your trauma, like EMDR, shadow work, practice mindfulness and meditation, CBT, TF-CBT, CPT, etc.
