Misunderstanding of the Event: Disciples in the past failed to recognize the resurrected Jesus due to disbelief, despair, and grief (John 20:14, Luke 24:15-16). The "Unexpected" Nature: Many will not be looking for him, or will be caught up in daily life, leading to missed signs (Matthew 24:35-37).
