Episode 9 Description:

DiploChatz Episode 9 is joined by Zeynep Evenson, Middle Years Program Coordinator from the Earl Wooster High School in Reno, Nevada, USA. During the first segment, Ms Evenson will chat with us about the International Baccalaureate Program (IB). During the second segment, NNIC's beloved intern Nicholas Bruk joins to us to chat about his experience at the Earl Wooster High School as a former IB program participant.

What is The International Baccalaureate (IB) Program?
The (IB) Program was designed and created in Switzerland in the 1960s, a world-renowned, and an academically challenging program to prepare students aged 16 to 19 for success at university and life beyond. IB program brings global context that fosters mutual respect of human being in order to develops lifelong learners who thrive and make a difference.

Every month DiploChatz proudly features a segment called Mindfulness Moment with Dr. Yvonne Stedham. This segment provides practical advice on how mindfulness can support you in your daily life.

Who is Dr. Yvonne?

In addition to a three-decade-long career in academia as a professor in the College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno, Dr. Yvonne Stedham is a Center for Mindfulness trained mindfulness instructor. She has taught Mindful Leadership courses to MBA students, judges, and business executives and has a variety provided mindfulness programs to many organizations, including Microsoft, Hometown Health, and the Nevada Department of Transportation. Dr. Yvonne has been continuously affiliated with the Northern Nevada International Center for decades.
