Amy Hillyard has been missing from Oakland, California, since March 25, 2026. Six months after her disappearance, investigators say a new digital clue has identified five hiking trails connected to Amy’s online activity that had never previously been searched.

Amy, a mother and co-owner of Farley’s coffee shops in Oakland and San Francisco, reportedly left home without her phone, wallet, and other personal belongings. Surveillance footage later placed her near Dimond Park in Oakland that afternoon, but there has been no publicly confirmed sighting of Amy since.

Now, private investigator Steve Fischer says a deeper forensic review of Amy’s computer revealed that shortly before she disappeared, she spent roughly half an hour researching eight hiking trails in the Oakland and Berkeley area.

Three had already been searched.

Five had not.

Shelby Perrien d**d on June 29, 2025, after suffering a gsw while riding in a vehicle with her husband, Jeremy Perrien, in Scott County, Missouri.

Jeremy initially told investigators Shelby’s injury was self-inflicted. But investigators later recovered evidence they say raised serious questions about that account, including a hidden video on Shelby’s phone, deleted messages, physical evidence from the vehicle, and bodycam observations documented in the probable-cause statement.

Jeremy Perrien was later charged with second-degree murder and other offenses. He has pleaded not guilty, and the allegations against him have not been proven at trial.
