Amy Hillyard has been missing from Oakland, California, since March 25, 2026. Six months after her disappearance, investigators say a new digital clue has identified five hiking trails connected to Amy’s online activity that had never previously been searched.

Amy, a mother and co-owner of Farley’s coffee shops in Oakland and San Francisco, reportedly left home without her phone, wallet, and other personal belongings. Surveillance footage later placed her near Dimond Park in Oakland that afternoon, but there has been no publicly confirmed sighting of Amy since.

Now, private investigator Steve Fischer says a deeper forensic review of Amy’s computer revealed that shortly before she disappeared, she spent roughly half an hour researching eight hiking trails in the Oakland and Berkeley area.

Three had already been searched.

Five had not.

In this Missing Monday episode, we walk through Amy Hillyard’s disappearance, her last known movements, what she left behind, the extensive searches conducted throughout the East Bay, why investigators focused on hiking areas, and why this newly discovered digital evidence could matter.

Most importantly, this episode is about getting Amy’s face and story in front of as many people as possible.
