  • The Alberta separatist movement (EP7)
    Jun 18 2025

What did we learn from Quebec’s sovereignty movement and its last referendum in the 90s? What are the pros and cons of separating? What economical challenges would Alberta be facing as a sovereign country considering its landlocked geography? Would that impact trade relationships? Alberta is the bedrock of Canada’s oil and gas industry; however, it feels inadequately represented by the federal government. So why hasn’t Alberta left Canada already? What keeps it here? Does believing in a future where all Canadian provinces got along and leveraged equitably their resources to become an international power just utopia? Or is Canada doomed to perpetual internal fighting?

What are we missing here? We want to hear your opinion!

  • Group Dynamics: the challenges of achieving goals within groups (EP6)
    Jun 14 2025

On and on we go! So many thoughts running through our minds! In this new episode, we chat about dedication to new endeavors and how difficult group dynamics can sometimes be, especially when it comes to artistic projects. We reminisce on our youth, when we were forced to work in teams and how these experiences shaped the way we now interact with others in our lives. Also, we look at how new technology threw a wrench in the mix; slackers in groups can now slack even more efficiently! lol.. Of course technology is great, but it doesn't come without its growing pains. But one thing is for sure, when it comes to being able to achieve any goal in a group, all the members of the group need to find their own personal connection to the project (like a passion maybe..?). Without it, without that connection, it takes more effort to complete the work! Just a thought...

What do you guys think? :)
