  • Palou Delivers but Power Reigns Supreme
    Sep 13 2022

Although much of the rambling nonsense was put on display this week. We still talked about some motorsports. Indycar was put on full display as the American open wheel series had it's season finale this weekend with Will Power claiming his second title of the Australian's career in Indycar. Newgarden placed second in the race and points after starting at the back of the field this past weekend in the foothills of the California countryside. Alex Palou captured the race win cementing him fifth place over teammate Marcus Ericsson.

Nascar had a duel that wasn't touched on quite enough by the boys. Bubba Wallace becomes the winningest African American driver in Nascar's premiere division with his win at Kansas that was undisputedly a great win and well deserved. No one can take that away from him or the 45 crew. The win for the 45 also marked the first time since 2002 where a car number won multiple races with different drivers. This also is the first time since 1972 where the same number won at the same track with different drivers.

Monza was, maybe not as thrilling up front with Verstappen winning under SC as the Mclaren of Ricciardo had dirvetrain problems. Vettel also had a less than stellar result in his final Monza race in F1 that happened with a DNF even earlier in the race. Shoutout to the young Dutchman in Nyck De Vries to bring a Williams home in P9 for Alex Albon as Albon had to miss this weekend due to health reasons.

  • Amazing Racing and Amazing Beverages
    Sep 7 2022

What a week for the boys and the racing world as we all witnessed Zanvoort live up to great highs with an epic finish to a great race of strategy. Another tough day was witnessed for the Tifosi as Ferrari not only messed up on Sainz strategy, pit stop and release all at different times of the race as Charles couldn't compete with Max in the process. Verstappen truly extends the title lead.

Indycar saw an amazing strategy play out. The Penske duo of Power and McLaughlin really showed this on perfect display dominating the field. While Newgarden would struggle with the tire strategy and cost him in the end now sitting 20 back of Power while McLaughlin sits some 41 points barely in the title shot.

Nascar then had a chaotic race on Sunday which we discuss how this can be the start of pure uncertainty for many drivers the next two races.

    Aug 16 2022

This week @nascarnonstop from instagram joined the show! We talk about his liking of Nascar and what really drove him to not only start a page but keep growing it. From stories of childhood to his take on the sport these days. There's many topics discussed and just how his views as a college student make for great timing in today's media society.

  • Tell All from Michigan
    Aug 10 2022

As one watched on the couch the other experienced speeds we haven't on a non superspeedway in years. Nascar was in the Irish Hills of Michigan for a date with the track faster than the rest. Chris tells of his experience at "Nascar's Fastest Track." From the speeds they carried as driving right on by him and friends from the stands. To what it was like being at the race where his most purchased adult beverage was the race winning sponsor.

Then we discuss the chaos of Indycar and what happened down in the Music City. From the tangles of Newgarden and Grosjean to the amazing finish between the Kiwi Scotts. Another action packed weekend for the highest open wheel series in America.

  • A New High for the Boys
    Aug 2 2022

This week was a way more interesting turn of events. The boys sit down to discuss what happened over in Hungary and how Verstappen almost has one hand on the title at this point. Ferrari masterclass strategy leaves everyone in shock with blunder after blunder it seems almost every race coming to Hungary where it seems that this past Sunday truly exemplified how it's like to to be a Ferrari fan.

Over in the states, Indycar and Nascar had a double header on the Indy Road Course which started with Indycar on Saturday. A great showing of racing with Alexander Rossi scoring his first win in three years.

Then on Sunday Nascar took on the Indy road course. It wasn't quite the chaos of last year but tempers were flaring. Many wrecks and many spins but one man got it done in the end. Tyler Reddick scores his second win of the season and second road course win in the month of July.

At the end of the episode the boys give their picks for this weekend's races of Nascar at Michigan. Indycar on the streets of Nashville and IMSA at Road America.
