Über diesen Titel
Although much of the rambling nonsense was put on display this week. We still talked about some motorsports. Indycar was put on full display as the American open wheel series had it's season finale this weekend with Will Power claiming his second title of the Australian's career in Indycar. Newgarden placed second in the race and points after starting at the back of the field this past weekend in the foothills of the California countryside. Alex Palou captured the race win cementing him fifth place over teammate Marcus Ericsson.
Nascar had a duel that wasn't touched on quite enough by the boys. Bubba Wallace becomes the winningest African American driver in Nascar's premiere division with his win at Kansas that was undisputedly a great win and well deserved. No one can take that away from him or the 45 crew. The win for the 45 also marked the first time since 2002 where a car number won multiple races with different drivers. This also is the first time since 1972 where the same number won at the same track with different drivers.
Monza was, maybe not as thrilling up front with Verstappen winning under SC as the Mclaren of Ricciardo had dirvetrain problems. Vettel also had a less than stellar result in his final Monza race in F1 that happened with a DNF even earlier in the race. Shoutout to the young Dutchman in Nyck De Vries to bring a Williams home in P9 for Alex Albon as Albon had to miss this weekend due to health reasons.
