Julia Navarre is a proud mom of two amazing kids—and yes, she knows everyone says that, but seriously, they’re pretty cool. Her journey into the world of oral restrictions began when both of her children were diagnosed with multiple ties. Her oldest has had two lip tie releases—one as a baby and another at age seven. Her younger daughter’s tongue tie was released at just five days old. Julia’s own oral ties were released nearly three years ago, giving her a unique, full-circle perspective as both a parent and a patient.

Julia lives in Perrysburg with her family where life is full of sports, new adventures, and lots of learning. She works in the IT field and brings a thoughtful, analytical mindset to everything she does.

Dr Gerard grew up in Idaho. He served a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Iowa. When he returned home he married his high school sweetheart. He attended Idaho State University and then attended the Univeristy of Louisville School of Dentistry and graduated in 2008. Since then he has completed countless hours of continuing education in many areas including: implants, sleep dentistry, orthodontics, ALF, laser therapies, and myofunctional therapy. He is part owner of 2 dental practices and a sleep focused practice. He has five kids. As a family they dirt bike and mountain bike and love the outdoors. He loves helping his patients, especially the little ones, and educating all his patients on total body wellness.

Julie has worked in outpatient pediatric speech therapy for the entirety of her career. Her areas of passion are: Childhood Apraxia of Speech, “r” therapy for pre-teens and teenagers who have not had prior success with speech therapy, and now, orofacial myofunctional therapy! I am Lynn Smallwood, the owner and lead Speech Language Pathologist at Speak Life Speech Therapist in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Speech Pathology is a second career for me and it has been such a blessing from God and the best decision.
