    In Japan, the words shibarite (rigger) and uketē (rope bottom) describe the two sides of kinbaku: the one who ties, and the one who is tied.
    But is the receiver really just “receiving”?
    Some move, guide, and express through their own bodies.
    This episode reflects on language, agency, and the dynamic relationship between tying and being tied in Japanese kinbaku.
