• S4 E22: So cold this morning
    Jul 20 2026

In this episode, I continue the Tarot Journey by exploring the lower arcana, focusing on the twos and threes across the four suits: pentacles, wands, cups, and swords. I explain how these cards relate to everyday life, from balance and choice to growth, collaboration, heartbreak, and healing.

I begin with a quick recap of the lower arcana as a set of practical, guiding cards used for reflection and journaling.

I shares how a recent tarot pull gave me clear, useful reminders about what was showing up in my life, especially through reversed cards that felt surprisingly accurate.

I then breaks down the four tarot suits:

    • Pentacles: material life, money, possessions, and the physical realm
    • Wands: creativity, passion, movement, and forward energy
    • Cups: emotions, relationships, and emotional connection
    • Swords: thoughts, decisions, truth, and mental energy

The episode goes card by card through the twos:

    • Two of Pentacles: balance, juggling priorities, and managing the physical/material side of life
    • Two of Wands: choice, planning ahead, expansion, and stepping into possibility
    • Two of Cups: connection, romance, partnership, and emotional unity
    • Two of Swords: indecision, stalemate, avoidance, and the challenge of facing difficult truths

I then moves into the threes:

    • Three of Cups: friendship, community, celebration, joy, and support
    • Three of Wands: growth, momentum, expansion, and looking toward what comes next
    • Three of Pentacles: collaboration, teamwork, creativity in action, and working with others
    • Three of Swords: heartbreak, grief, betrayal, painful truth, and the thoughts that can keep us in pain

Throughout the episode, I emphasises that tarot is not just predictive, it’s a tool for self-reflection, journaling, and emotional processing. I close by inviting you to reflect on how the lower arcana feel to you and share your thoughts.

  • S4 E20: Just lovely weather
    Jul 7 2026

Good morning, yogis! Happy Tuesday! Let's dive into today’s reflection, which is all about celebrating our journeys and finding joy in the present moment. This week, we explore the vibrant energy of the Sun card from the Tarot, a symbol of happiness, celebration, and light.

    Understanding the Sun Card

The Sun card represents joy and success. Picture a bright sun in the sky, a joyful child on a white horse, and sunflowers blooming all around. This imagery encapsulates the essence of celebration and positivity. After navigating through challenges, the Sun encourages us to acknowledge our achievements and embrace happiness.

    The Importance of Celebration

In our fast-paced lives, we often forget to celebrate our wins. The Sun card reminds us to pause and reflect on how far we've come. Whether it’s small victories or significant milestones, taking a moment to appreciate our journey can enhance our overall well-being. It’s easy to get caught up in what’s next, but celebrating our progress helps us cultivate a sense of gratitude and joy.

    Overcoming the Guilt of Joy

Many of us have been conditioned to believe that joy must be earned through hard work. This mindset can lead to feelings of unworthiness when we experience happiness without struggle. The Sun card challenges this notion, inviting us to find joy in simplicity and to allow ourselves to enjoy life without guilt. Embracing joy isn’t about neglecting responsibilities; it’s about recognizing that life can be fulfilling and enjoyable.

    Finding Joy in Everyday Moments

The Sun card encourages us to seek joy in everyday experiences. Simple pleasures, like enjoying a cup of coffee, spending time with loved ones, or simply soaking in the sunlight, can significantly boost our happiness. By shifting our focus from what we lack to what we have, we can create a mindset of abundance and positivity.

    Conclusion: Embrace the Joy

As we reflect on the Sun card, let’s commit to celebrating our victories, no matter how small. This week, take a moment to acknowledge your achievements and allow joy to fill your heart. Remember, life is not just about the grind; it’s also about celebrating the journey. So go ahead, dance, laugh, and enjoy the ride!
