When villagers called me the white man’s son, I felt ridiculed. I thought I was being mocked for who I once was and I hated to be referred to like that. A short time earlier, I had taken pride in that title. I was the step son of a wealthy white man, but all that fell apart and I had been abandoned poverty, neglected and humiliated. I never wanted to be reminded of who I once was.

Many years later, I have had to re-examine the whole experience with a mature adults mind. I am not ashamed of who I was or who I am. I would not mind to reclaim my old title. Maybe it is my life’s purpose

These men did not abuse me. These men only sought to love and protect me. but they were white and I was black. For all my life, I have felt indebted to them. To one day, tell the world who they were and their kind hearts. These men were my stepfathers. They brought me a dream that an African boy could not have imagined. but I lived feeling somebody stole it away that dream. These are the stories of my life

I never saw myself making podcasts or writing books but lately, I have come to see the importance of sharing my story. i have benefited from people who have shared so of their difficult experiences and I think if we all shared we can make this world a better place.
