When villagers called me the white man’s son, I felt ridiculed. I thought I was being mocked for who I once was and I hated to be referred to like that. A short time earlier, I had taken pride in that title. I was the step son of a wealthy white man, but all that fell apart and I had been abandoned poverty, neglected and humiliated. I never wanted to be reminded of who I once was.
Many years later, I have had to re-examine the whole experience with a mature adults mind. I am not ashamed of who I was or who I am. I would not mind to reclaim my old title. Maybe it is my life’s purpose
