On May 25, in the Whitney Ranch vicinity, officers responded to an alleged assault outside a local shopping complex. The victim was treated at the scene. The investigation is ongoing. Later that evening near the intersection of Horizon Ridge Parkway and Stephanie Street, police were called to a disturbance that resulted in the arrest of one adult male for alleged disorderly conduct.
In the Black Mountain area on May 26, an alleged vandalism incident occurred at a community park. Police are seeking information and encourage witnesses to come forward. No arrests have been made. In the Anthem neighborhood, a residential burglary was reported; this case remains under active investigation.
May 27 saw patrols respond to an alleged theft from a business in the Lake Las Vegas district. Police reviewed security footage and are seeking public assistance in identifying a male suspect, described as white, mid-30s, approximately 6’0” tall, with short brown hair, last seen wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans. Those with information are asked to contact law enforcement.
On May 28 in the East Henderson sector, officers investigated a report of alleged fraud involving unauthorized credit card use at a gas station. The matter is under ongoing review. That night, near Warm Springs Road and Arroyo Grande Boulevard, an alleged domestic battery resulted in the arrest of one individual. The case is pending further legal proceedings.
A significant incident on April 30, referenced for ongoing investigation, involved an apparent murder-suicide in the Imperia Drive area. Police responded to a shooting, discovering one deceased female and a male who later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. This case, still open, is classified as the city’s third homicide of 2025.
