Sunny is a practicing CAA, currently working both as a locum and on a W2 basis. He currently practices in Texas and Indiana, where he is proud to provide quality anesthesia care in the anesthesia care team. Sunny began his career in the Marine Corps, where he developed a respect for education that led him to the University of Arizona. Sunny graduated magna cum laude with a degree in medical physiology before attending the Indiana University School of Medicine's CAA program. He graduated top of his class and earned the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award. Sunny has done anesthesia for level 1 trauma, cardiac, neurosurgery, outpatient surgery, high-risk OB, and everything in between. Sunny was awarded the 2024 Outstanding Clinical Educator Award by the Indiana University School of Medicine's CAA school, and he currently runs a TikTok dedicated to educating people about the CAA profession.

Douce Kakpovi is a registered nurse with 8 years of experience in various fields of nursing. She earned her associate degree in nursing in 2015 from Montgomery college and went on to receive her Bachelors degree in nursing at chamberlain university. She has experience in nurse case management, home care and bedside nursing. She currently works in Maryland with the goal of promoting patient independence using evidence-based practice. When Douce is not working she enjoys baking and spending time with her husband and one year old son.

Jessica Reed is a nurse and healthcare manager with over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in African-American studies from UCLA, a nursing degree from Pasadena City College, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration Healthcare Management from Western Governors University.

Throughout her career, Jessica has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. She also worked as a Health Communications Project Manager for iDREAM for Racial Health Equity. She has experience managing healthcare teams and has a reputation for being a skilled and effective leader.

In her current role as a healthcare manager at Kaiser Permanente, Jessica oversees the day-to-day operations of two departments, ensuring that all staff members are providing high-quality care to patients. She is responsible for managing budgets, developing policies and procedures, and implementing new programs and initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

Jessica is passionate about improving the quality of healthcare in her community and has been involved in several community health initiatives. She is constantly looking to implement new technologies and practices to serve underrepresented communities.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys working out, watching reality TV, and spending time with family and friends. She is dedicated to her patients and is committed to providing the highest level of care to everyone she serves.

Kimberly started her journey in the medical field at 19 years old with first becoming a medical assistant. She as almost 25 years of different levels of medical training. 15 years as an Licensed Vocational Nurse and 10 years as a Bachelorette Registered Nurse in Emergency Room, Neuro Stroke Telemetry and currently working as a triage advice nurse specialist. Nursing has been a passion and a special calling of Kimberly's.

Angel Iwuoma, MSN, RN, PHN is a woman with a desire to serve people in any capacity! Angel is a Registered Nurse in California and Angel when she is not working on a medical-surgical/telemetry floor, she works as Adjunct Faculty at a local university where she instructs and prepares nursing students to enter the profession. In her free time, she loves to dance, listen to gospel music, cook, hang out with loved ones, go to concerts, and watch reality TV to destress. All in all, her mission is to use her mind, heart, and soul to deliver quality, patient-centered care.
