On this episode of Fortified Follower, we are going back to 2019. A story of a go-kart accident with Mackenzie and her dad. A crazy accident showing God's protection in the midst of it. Both had physical breaks, which lead to a season of wondering if there would ever be full restoration. It was a long season turned into a testimony of God's healing power. The Lord desires to reveal Himself as Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. He is still a miracle working God. He still heals, saves, and protects. Can God use something as simple as Pilates socks? In this episode we see God's faithfulness even in the seemingly "little" testimonies. The Lord reveals how He is provider of all things. He proves it through an $8.50 pair of Pilates socks.

The Lord desires to reveal Himself as provider in our lives. To see the hand of God, we must walk in obedience to allow Him to provide for us in the way He desires. We must be good stewards of what He entrusts to us. We must remember that to whom much is given, much is required.

In this episode of Fortified Follower, we explore the year of the Lord’s favor by examining the prophecy Jesus fulfilled from Isaiah 61:1–2, as recorded in Luke 4:18–19. Jesus declared His mission clearly: to preach the Good News and bring freedom.We also look at those Jesus sent out during His ministry on earth—specifically the twelve disciples and the seventy-two (Luke 9 and 10). He commissioned them to do what He was doing: sharing the Gospel and bringing freedom through healing. Together, we discuss the spiritual implications of the words Jesus spoke.But this mission didn’t end with Jesus or those He sent out then, it continues with us. We begin to understand that Jesus was not referring to a specific year, but to an ongoing reality of those who believe in Him. Whenever the Gospel is proclaimed and freedom is released in the name of Jesus, that is the Lord’s favor at work.The year of the Lord’s favor began with Jesus and continues through His followers. We have been commissioned. We are called to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor by doing the works Jesus did—and even greater. You are called. As followers of Jesus, this is our commission.We are being sent out with boldness and confidence. May the Lord’s favor rest upon you as you live out the year of the Lord’s favor.
