I was hoping to get a piece of Stephen Fry's excellent audiobook of all the Sherlock Holmes stories and got a crass and infantile version of the original. I have no idea why someone felt the need to augment the story and the dialogues, but what they did is a crime. They basically dumbed down Holmes and added some mystery folksy nonsense. The only ONLY good thing I have to say about the audiobook is how amazing Stephen Fry's reading is.
