 Hey Sweet Friend! Do you find that you’re longing for a stronger relationship with God? That when you are going through the eye of the storms you want to feel confident to know that He is right there with you. Do you feel doubtful if He can really hear you especially when you’re crying for help? You’re striving to grow but you feel like your past is always coming up and you’re always hitting obstacles and barriers in your spiritual life. I know your craving for that unconditional love and relationship that you always hear about and that you desire to please God in your life. If you feel like you’re always finding yourself feeling depressed, stressed, worried and just overthinking everything that comes to your mind and you’re giving up trying to find that peace in your life then you’re in the right place. Here at Embracing Her Faith Podcast our primary goal is to deepen our relationship with God by focusing on His presence and guidance to lead the way. We center our thoughts, actions, and aspirations around drawing nearer to Him each day. Our daily grind as a mother, wife, sister, coworker can be stressful to carry with you. He sees our struggles as moments of shaping, refining, and ultimately, as stepping stones toward a greater purpose in His faithful plan. In this podcast I teach you: -How to encourage regular reading and reflection in the bible to explore the teachings, stories and wisdom that we can learn to use in our daily lives. -Engage in worship activities, from attending church services to personal worship through music, singing, or sacrificing silence, emphasizing the importance of connecting with God through praise. -How to learn ways we can use the power of prayer in overwhelming seasons in your life to build that strong relationship you desire. -Learn ways you can simplify your spiritual growth as a busy mom and wife. Hey friend! I’m Rainey, your host. I’m a boy mom, wife of 10 years and a child of God. I’ve been where you’ve been. I didn’t grow up in church. I had a traumatic child life. I was raised without a mother and was the oldest girl out of five children which meant a lot of weight was pushed on me. I had to deal with anxiety, depression, insecurities and much more. I have the strength now because of God. I don’t have to carry all that weight from my past because the Lord carries it for me. In our journey with God, perfection isn’t the goal. Each day presents its challenges, but we find solace in knowing that God walks alongside us through it all. What’s important is our desire for continuous improvement and growth, striving to do better every single day. I don’t have it all together but I might be just a couple steps forward so that means that we can learn together in this spiritual growing process. I hope the testimonies in my life bring you joy to know that what God did for me he can do for you too.     Hey Momma,

    So the other day I was scrolling online and came across this story about on older woman at Walmart in one of those scooters having a hard time reaching a product from the shelves and ended up dropping some stuff on the floor. Well two children came to the rescue to help this lady in need. Credit to mom! Well, when mom went into the checkout line that same lady was there and whispered something in moms ear. She said "It's still nice to see that God still exists in some children in today's world." Wow that is so powerful to think about.

    In today's episode I wanted to talk about how we can help our children to receive humility. It's super important that our children learn that we need to be an image of God. There are ways to help them to see that we are not perfect in our flesh and that they need guidance from parents and from God. Take a listen! I hope this blesses you in some way.
