After being held captive, she ultimately managed to escape, leading to a widespread manhunt for her assailant. Jeff shares the story of British Airways Flight 5390. As the airplane flew over very busy British airspace on the way to Spain something terrifying happened. A windscreen panel that had not been properly installed detached from its frame, leading to the captain being partially expelled from the aircraft. Captain Lancaster remained secured by the window frame and flight attendants for 20 minutes until the first officer successfully landed at Southampton Airport.
