Darlyne McGee, a cosmetology legend, began her 50-year journey in the industry as a salon receptionist. In 1973, she opened Silhouette Hair Design, now marking its 50th anniversary. Darlyne's mentorship has impacted over 500 cosmetologists, many of whom are salon owners today. She's expanded to six salons and a beauty school, emphasizing community service involvement. At 84, Darlyne still dedicates six days a week to her salon, attends hair shows, and holds numerous professional awards. Beyond her career, she treasures her family, including three children, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
