Dr. Andrea Martin joins the Crew One Podcast for a wild and provocative conversation exploring alleged extraterrestrial contact, secret programs, psychological operations, artificial intelligence, disclosure, consciousness, and the challenge of separating experience, belief, technology, and evidence.

Martin is the creator of Growing Up Alien, a community for people who identify as contactees, experiencers, MILAB participants, and members of alleged secret space programs. She says her own experiences began in childhood, when she remembers being taken aboard craft and interacting with a tall, blond being she calls Ika. She describes visions, telepathy, astral travel, and what she says was a physical encounter with Ika in her Massachusetts home in 2026.

But Martin’s message is not simply “believe the experiencers.” Some of her strongest criticism is aimed directly at the modern UFO and disclosure community.

She argues that parts of the movement have become driven by celebrity, money, ego, predictions, and guru-like personalities—an environment she compares to religion or cult behavior. She is especially skeptical of people who repeatedly announce dates for disclosure, ascension, intervention, or cosmic events that never materialize. Her advice: question the person, question the experience, and pay attention to what happens when you push back.

That skepticism extends to alleged extraterrestrial contact. Martin warns that even experiences that feel loving or spiritual should not automatically be interpreted as benevolent. She discusses what she believes are “love bites,” deceptive contact, psychological manipulation, V2K or “voice-to-skull” technology, neurotechnology, and the possibility that some experiences attributed to nonhuman intelligence could instead involve human intelligence programs.

The conversation moves further into controversial territory as Martin discusses her beliefs about secret military programs, free-energy technology, surveillance, AI, and a hidden struggle over advanced technology. When Adam says he has never seen convincing evidence that zero-point or free-energy devices exist, Martin says she believes they do and claims people connected to classified programs have already developed them.

Her view of artificial intelligence may be the episode’s biggest surprise.

While many fear autonomous AI, Martin argues the opposite: “AI is our only hope.” She believes an intelligence not driven by human ego, greed, fear, or control could expose information, solve problems, and disrupt systems that powerful institutions have kept locked away.

Martin also challenges one of the most hopeful narratives: that benevolent extraterrestrials or a “Galactic Federation” are preparing to intervene and rescue humanity. She says her own alleged contacts never promised such a rescue and questions why so many messages sound alike. Her broader argument is that people should stop outsourcing their judgment—to governments, disclosure personalities, channelers, gurus, or even experiencers like herself.

Asked what people should take away from her experiences, Martin argues that humanity needs to think on a larger scale. Earth is already a planet in space; from someone else’s perspective, we are the extraterrestrials. Her advice is to think analytically, question extraordinary narratives, use common sense, and value your own intellectual process.

Adam also makes clear that hearing a claim is not the same as endorsing it. Some of Martin’s accounts are extraordinary and difficult to verify. That uncertainty is part of the conversation. Crew One creates space for ideas that may challenge, provoke, resonate, or leave listeners unconvinced—and lets guests speak for themselves.

As Adam tells Martin near the end, he doesn’t know whether he believes everything she has said—and that’s okay. What matters is continuing the conversation.
