• The Corner Connection - The Survival Essentials Nobody Needs To Be Talking About
    Jan 10 2026

Family, I need you to sit down for this one. This isn't our typical Cousin Ed's Corner episode. This one episode I didn't want to have to do, but the one I MUST! Today we're diving deep into Emergency Preparedness, Survival Essentials, and protecting your family when the world gets unpredictable.

Remember when COVID hit and none of us were ready? Remember the panic, the empty shelves, the uncertainty? I'm watching what's happening right now—military ships positioned outside Cuba, tensions with Venezuela, threats toward Greenland, escalating conflicts with China, Russia, Iran, and Iraq—and I refuse to let my family go through another crisis unprepared. This episode is about our responsibility to protect ourselves and the people we love.

We're breaking down seven critical survival categories: food and water storage (6-12 months worth!), shelter and warmth essentials, health and hygiene supplies, communication systems for when cell towers fail, financial preparedness with cash and precious metals, energy independence through solar power, and yes—we're having the uncomfortable conversation about the Second Amendment and family protection. From MREs to two-way radios, from dehydrated food to bartering skills, we're building our survival readiness bags together.

This is the same kind of talk our parents had to have with us about how to act when police pull you over, or how to navigate being followed in stores. These are uncomfortable truths, but they're NECESSARY truths. I'm not trying to scare you, family—I'm trying to PREPARE you. Because love means protection, and protection requires preparation.

After you listen, I NEED to hear from you! What's in your survival readiness bag? What am I missing in mine? Do you want Part 2 of this conversation? Send me a DM, drop a comment, or text me directly at 762-333-2032. Let's build this preparedness community together, because prepared neighbors are safe neighbors, and safe families are strong families!

  • The Corner Connection - Cherishing The Importance of What Truly Matters During the Holidays
    Jan 8 2026

In this episode, we're diving into something that's transformed how I view not just the holidays, but more of how I think every single day—the power of presence and the blessing of "Everyone In The Picture!" This isn't just about family photos—it's about our gratitude, and recognizing that the greatest gift we receive each year isn't wrapped in paper, it's seeing the same faces we love still here with us.

Remember when the holidays were all about the parties, the gifts, the celebrations? I'm sharing how my answer to "How was your Christmas? or How was your New Years?" evolved over several days of conversations into something far more profound: "Everyone that was in the picture last year is in the picture this year." Through surgeries, struggles, pain, and life's daily uncertainties, everyone made it. Fam, that's what I'm celebrating.

Today marks the first Motivational Monday of 2026, and we're not playing around, family. Remember how we said 2026 was going to be different? Well, it starts right here, right now. I'm sharing why eliminating the word "try" from your vocabulary changes everything, how my dad serves as my accountability partner who won't let me settle for mediocre, and why doing small things with excellence—like prepping your lunch the night before or showing up to work on time—builds the foundation for extraordinary success.

  • Thank God For Everything (TGIF) - How Much Are You Willing To Sacrifice This Year?
    Jan 2 2026

🚨New Season Alert🚨: Season 5 of Cousin Ed's Corner is officially HERE, and we're starting 2026 with a powerful message about sacrifice, service, and God's complete protection over our lives! This isn't just another motivational talk—this is a MOVEMENT, fam. This episode was inspired by the monks walking across America spreading peace and unity, and it got me thinking: What am I REALLY willing to sacrifice for the greater good? What are WE willing to give?

I'm getting real vulnerable in this one, talking about how I stepped back from coaching and mentoring during COVID and now feeling that strong pull to get back to serving my community. With two kids graduating this year, I know it's time to pour back into the next generation. But here's the thing—this message isn't just for me, it's for ALL of us. When's the last time you volunteered your time? Read to a kid? Visited an elderly home? Paid it forward? This episode is a challenge to myself AND to you to do MORE in 2026.

  • Thank God For Everything (TGIF) - Keeping Family Traditions Alive Across Each Generation
    Dec 27 2025

In this episode, we're breaking free from the "TGIF" mentality and diving deep into the power of thanking God for EVERYTHING—not just Fridays, but every single moment of every single day. Fresh from my family's Christmas celebration, I'm sharing raw reflections on the beauty and bittersweet reality of multi-generational gatherings, the traditions my grandmother started in that small house in South Carolina, and the faces I miss when I look around the room.

This isn't just about holiday nostalgia—it's about US, our responsibility to gather NOW instead of waiting for funerals, and the urgent call to honor our family traditions while passing them down to the next generation. I'm also breaking down a powerful four-directional prayer meditation: God above us like an umbrella, behind us cleaning our mistakes, before us clearing our path, and beneath us as our rock and foundation. Y'all, when I started unpacking this truth, I couldn't help but cry out in worship right there on the mic. It got REAL. It got DEEP. It got AUTHENTIC.

I want to hear from YOU, family! Did you do an Italian potluck with homemade pasta? A Louisiana-style crab boil? Traditional turkey and fixings? Or did you travel somewhere warm for Christmas? Whatever your traditions are, I want to celebrate them with you! Send me a voice note at 762-333-2032 or DM me @CousinEdsCorner on any platform and share your story!

  • The Corner Connection - Beyond the Wrapping Paper: A Christmas Message From Cousin Ed
    Dec 25 2025

Merry Christmas: In this Christmas Eve episode, we're discussing what this season truly means—and it's not about the presents under the tree, fam. This is about US, our memories, our connections, and the love that transcends both time and distance. I'm opening up my heart and sharing stories about my grandmothers in South Carolina and New York, the family gatherings that shaped me, and the people I wish I could hug one more time this Christmas.

But this isn't just a trip down memory lane—this is a CALL TO ACTION for every single one of us. When's the last time you told your family you love them? When's the last time you used FaceTime to share a meal with someone you can't be with physically? When's the last time you honored the memory of someone you lost by speaking their name out loud and celebrating the joy they brought to your life? This message will challenge you to shift your focus from getting to GIVING—and I mean real sacrifice, not just regifting stuff you don't want.

I'm also announcing Cousin Ed's Corner Winter Gift Drive where we're collecting donations to provide hats, scarves, socks, and bags to people who need warmth this season. Winter just started, and we got a long way to go, so I need my family to step up and help make a difference. Shaq showed me what giving back looks like, and now I'm challenging all of us to do the same with whatever we have.

Drop me a comment or voicemail about who you're thinking about this Christmas—whether they're sitting next to you or watching over you from heaven.
