  • Episode 15: Reign of Fire
    Apr 10 2026

This episode we break down 2002's Reign of Fire. A movie that asks, “What if dragons woke up and immediately chose violence?” Yes, dragons. It stars an intense Christian Bale, and a completely unhinged Matthew McConaughey in all of his unblinking absurdity. Who's master plan mostly involves jumping at airborne fire-breathing lizards with axes. It’s Mad Max, meets medieval LARP. And we cannot stress enough how seriously this movie takes itself while being an absolutely ridiculous premise. Come have a beer with us and join in the absurdity. Cheers!

  • Episode 14: Cloverfield
    Mar 18 2026

In this episode, the guys put the hammer down on 2008's Cloverfield, directed by Matt Reeves (NOT J.J. Abrams.) A movie that asks, “What if your going away party was crashed by a skyscraper sized bad day?” Follow a group of every twenty-something movie trope, as they run through New York armed with nothing but a camcorder, extremely questionable decisions, and zero survival instincts. Come drink and break down the chaos, the mystery, and why a one night stand is no reason to run headlong into a 300 foot tall baby alien. Cheers!

  • Episode 13: Knowing
    Feb 18 2026

On this episode, we dive into 2009's Knowing. The movie where Nicolas Cage discovers the apocalypse is basically a math problem and reacts the only logical way: by yelling at paper, franticly putting himself in harms way, and trusting his hair plugs. We unpack flying disasters, whispering aliens (maybe?), and a universe that apparently runs on bad vibes and worse acting. Is it determinism or does shit just happen? Come share a beer with us and find out!
