Allira highlights the challenges she faced, such as imposter syndrome and the lack of understanding of social work in other disciplines. She also shares the positive experiences she had, including the validation of her theoretical knowledge and the importance of her lived experience as an Aboriginal woman. Allira discusses her passion for working with Aboriginal people and mental health, and the intervention strategies she finds most effective, such as cognitive behavioural therapy and narrative practice.
