Welcome back to another Class Chat. In this episode Will catches up with John Doyle from Mitchelstown in Cork. A member in Fota Island, John grew up playing for Mitchelstown and then Fota Island. Having won the Irish Boys in 2023 and 2025, John has already at the young age of 18 won the Boys Home Internationals with Ireland and also represented Ireland in the European Championships in Killarney this year as well as representing Ireland in the World Amateur Teams in Singapore. When you add in playing in the Junior Players in TPC Sawgrass, The Irish Open in the K-Club and the Junior Ryder Cup then 2025 has really been a dream year. The world is his oyster and when he finishes his Leaving Cert, John will be heading to college in the US having committed to LSU. I dont think there is anything stopping this guy from being one of the best in the world and we wish him every success along the way. A great chat with a talented gentleman.

Welcome back to another Class Chat. In this episode Will catches up with 4 gents from Douglas Golf Club who are 2025 All Ireland Men's Senior Cup Champions. This is a historic moment for the club as this is the first time that they have won the men's title. It was made all the more special on the day as the Women's Senior Cup team completed an amazing double by retaining the Senior Cup crown. On the chat are Peter O'Keeffe, Justin Dennehy, Kyle McCarron and Barry O'Connell. Sit back and soak up the stories, the tension and the atmosphere of what is a special chat with 4 special players. This is a great chat with one of Ireland's good guys and a mainstay on the elite amateur circuit for over a decade.

Welcome back to another Class Chat. In this episode Will catches up with Elm Park Golf Club Women's Senior Foursomes team who are the 2025 All Ireland Champions. Chatting with Will are Clodagh O'Donnell who is the team manager and Siobhan O'Shea and Rachael McDonnell who are both players on the team. Listen is as the ladies bring us along their journey through the Leinster South finals in Hermitage Golf Club and onward to Douglas Golf Club for the finals at the end of August where Siobhan brings us through her exciting final match with her partner Sarah O'Brien. I think this win is particularly special for the club as they are 100 years old this year. Another great listen.

Welcome back to another Class Chat. In this episode Will catches up with Gavin Tiernan who is an Elite Irish Amateur golfer and most recently represented GB&I in the Walker Cup in Cypress Point. Currently studying in East Tennessee University in the US this is a lovely chat which brings us from Gavin being a young 28 handicap all the way through to leading the East of Ireland Championship in 2025 in his home club of County Louth, to being selected to represent Ireland in the Home Internationals and also the European Championships which were held in Killarney. Add in being selected to represent GB&I in the St Andrews Trophy and this great guy has had a 2025 to remember. What does the future hold? Professional? Walker Cup 2026 in Lahinch? Tune in to find out... We definitely wish this gentleman the very best in whatever he decides to do in the future.

The lads are back together for another episode. We catch up with Tom and what has happened with his game since we last saw him. A couple of events and also prep for DP Q-School coming up this week. Barry is trying to stay positive with his game although results and comps are not giving him any satisfaction. Will has gotten to a new low handicap for the year so at least he is a bit excited about what the golfing game is giving him. Then we talk all things Tour related with Barry including Rory's special win in the K Club. Tom throws in some Ryder Cup chat and then Will finishes off with everything Amateur golf for the last few weeks including his travels to the Close in Westport, Mid Am in Rosslare and the All Ireland Senior finals in Douglas.
