Welcome back to Season 6, Episode 2! The full trio is back in the studio as Eli, Mike, and Reggie assemble to talk all things hoops. We kick things off by finally giving Mike the floor to take his victory lap on the Knicks bringing the championship back to New York.

Once the celebration wraps up, we dive straight into the fallout from an absolutely wild NBA offseason. With LeBron James taking a vet minimum to join the 76ers, Paul George and Jaylen Brown swapping jerseys, and Giannis Antetokounmpo teaming up with Klay Thompson on the Heat, the power dynamics of the league have completely shifted. We break down the new landscape of the 2026-2027 season and lock in our way-too-early predictions for MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and who we ultimately think will hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy in 2027.

In this episode:

• Mike’s delayed reaction to the New York Knicks winning the NBA Championship.
• Analyzing the biggest blockbuster trades and free agency signings of the summer.
• How the East and West stack up after a chaotic offseason.
• Way-too-early predictions for regular season awards.
• Our official picks for the 2026-2027 NBA Champion.

The 53-year wait is officially over. Season 6 kicks off with Eli and Reggie taking a massive victory lap as the New York Knicks are crowned NBA Champions.

We’re breaking down not just the remarkable 5-game gentleman’s sweep, but an absolutely historic, scorched-earth playoff run.

After falling down 1-2 to the Atlanta Hawks, this squad flipped a switch and won every single game leading up to the Finals. We're talking pure domination in elimination games—blowing out opponents by 51, then 30, and then 37 points. Add in that unbelievable 29-point comeback in Game 4 before officially closing out the series in San Antonio in Game 5, and it's a wrap.

We are cashing in our receipts on every hater who doubted this squad and soaking in the glory of bringing the Larry O'Brien trophy back to Madison Square Garden.

The Mecca is back on top, and we are breaking down every moment of the run.
