Meet Amazin Lethi, a global Vietnamese LGBTQ sports and human rights advocate and a former competitive bodybuilder. Breaking barriers and all the rules Amazin shares how sports has shaped her life through adversity.
Amazin talks candidly about growing up as a transracial adoptee in a white household that didn't really embrace her heritage, and reveals some of the racism she encountered as a child., how having an athlete's mindset helped her to overcome homelessness and challenging periods in her life and why she is so passionate about LGBTQ and Asian visibility in sports organisations.
Amazin talks about how East Asian voices are often invisible in terms of the broader community and how representation needs to be reflected at the top of organisations as well as in the lower levels.
