And we reached spectacle over content

In the last book the story went out the window and now the characters jumped after it.
The whole setup for thr story makes no sense.
Ppl just randomly decide things for other ppl instead of talking with them 1st.
Noone is conversing in a normal way anymore instead everybody is either shouting, screaming, gushing or talking in any other annoying way.
The protagonist is a grumpy and annoying caricature of the mostly stern and cool character the listener/reader got to know in the 1st book.
