Ein extrem gut geschriebenes Buch, eine irre Geschichte, unglaublich feinfühlig beschriebene Persönlichkeiten und wer London und die unterschiedlichen sozialen Schichten dort kennt, erlebt ein Hör/Lesevergnügen, das man im Herzen behält.

Der beste Roman seit langem. Voller farbiger Details, streng konstruiert und mit bunten Garben ausgeführt. So lebendige Charaktere! So eine menschliche Grundhaltung. Ganz klares must-read /hear. Durch die unterschiedlichen Sprecher mit ihren jeweiligen Einwanderungs-Sprachfärbungen wird das Anhôren sehr abwechslungsreich.
