I was already very fond of Lady Glennconner's first book "Lady In Waiting" and found her newest book "Whatever Next" equally if not more interesting. What a life she led! What circumstances and hardships she had to deal with ... and how gracefully she accepted her fate and destiny. She is a lady through and through and I applaud her for the courage to talk about her life in such detail. She certainly is a role model on how to become a woman in your own right. Absolutely loved this book and listened to it in one sitting.

This book provides a great insight in an aristocratic way of living (Specially for a Swiss who does not know a lot about royalty and aristocracy.) Lady Anne Glennconnor is a fabulous writer AND reader, I enjoyed every bit of the book. Specially admirable is her way to deal with the tragedies and hard parts in her life.
I am already looking forward to her next book.
