The premise and characters are very interesting, but the story arcs get dragged down by extensive battle descriptions. I often felt myself losing focus and drifting off in detailed descriptions of bolter shell impacts and sword clashes.
Gareth Armstrong delivers a great performance and the interesting scenes are very entertaining, but overall too diluted by fighting descriptions for my taste.
