I love the books by Eden Finley, because he includes representation for a variety of mental health topics and different identities, all packed in very engaging novels.

Such a sweet love story.

One of the MCs is highly traumatised and has PTSD (CW: domestic violence) and it was soooo believable and heartbreaking to hear/read.

The budding relationship between the two MCs is dominated by the trauma: a lot of back and forth whe also finding creative solutions to work with/around the issues.

Great development of the protagonists. I’m very much in love with both of them.

I really like this book! In contrast to the first book (because of the poor narration), this book gets under your skin. The problems Anders has and how he deals with them are described accurately and logically. You get the impression that the author knows her stuff and everything is coherent. However, the story only scratches the surface (it's heavy enough for that), which on the other hand is ok as it is a romance novel and not a psychoanalytical book. I struggled after an assassination attempt and I think Eden Finley did an excellent job in this book.

I usually enjoy reading about bondage (BDMS), but this bondage here is different, albeit entertaining (No, no spoiler at all here!)
It's good to have read the first book to better understand Anders, his fears and relationship with his twin.
The narration here is much better than in the first book also because they finally stick with one narrator and one main charakter throughout the book.
