i love the books of Clancy and the Jack Ryan series, even if they are a bit to pro American. but this book is the lowest point front he story. the story is weak, no plot where things turn, same procedure again, the it is super hero 2 and can do everything supereasy with a click, the end is even worst. Jack can shoot, run, jump, fight even He was nailed on a cross and has a limp arm. well this is supernatural, away from the original and not a good book. if you not insist to follow on all books, go around and hear/read the original Jack books.
