The book is definitely entertaining and exciting. What is very disturbing, however, is the speaker. Neither the timing nor the intonation fit, the speaker seems to be constantly trying to create artificial tension. Just annoying.

Scott Brick is a disastrous choice to have books read aloud.

It is not the best of Tom Clany novels. I agree to the other reviews saying that the story is „too dramatic“ (too much lonesome hero moments, too much „luck“ in too many occasions, …)

These books get more and more focused on gloryfing the main characters. It's getting repeated many times through the book now and Jack seems to get super human on steroids. Also now the polt is not cohesive anymore all the way just to ensure Jack is the only one to save the day. Sorry this is a great story idea wasted here.

once you habe heard it once, it is impossible to unhear it. The authorized has a pool of synonyme for the Word "say" of exactly one. Jack said, Chad said, Mary-Pat said, Scott said....it drives you nuts once you have noticed. the word must be used easily more than 2-3 thousand times in this audio book.

story is okay though.
