Über diesen Titel
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author comes a brand new sizzling summer listen that will have you laughing, swooning . . . and sweating.
Scottie Price just started a new job and it's a real sausage fest. She's the only woman on a team filled with Brads and Chads. Expecting a bachelor pad atmosphere, she is quickly corrected when she finds out everyone is happily married.
In an effort to impress her boss, Scottie mentions her nonexistent husband in a company meeting. But eagle-eyed Chad points out her lack of wedding ring. Panicked, Scottie creates a story about her unhappy marriage. Unfortunately for Scottie, her boss has a solution—a one-on-one session with the best marriage counselor in the Northeast, who happens to be her boss’s husband.
With no way out of her lie, Scottie agrees to see him. Frantic, she calls in help from her best friend who sets her up with his brother, an improv-obsessed millionaire.
Enter Wilder Wells. More than happy to take on the job, he teaches Scottie the main rule of improv: always say yes. But the rule backfires during the session when Wilder signs them up for an eight-day summer marriage camp with all of Scottie’s co-workers where she’ll have to share a cabin with her way-too-handsome fake husband.
As for the narration? Perfection. Teddy Hamilton, Erin Mallon, and Stephen Dexter are three of my all-time favorites, and together they brought this story to life in the most wonderful way. What’s not to love?
I’ve really enjoyed most of Meghan Quinn’s rom-coms, but this one was an absolute delight. Hilariously funny, deliciously spicy, and packed with heartfelt moments—it was everything I hoped for and more.
From the very beginning, it felt like I’d landed in the middle of a Ben Stiller movie—I was laughing so hard I had to pause the audio more than once. Both the FMC and MMC were incredibly lovable and easy to root for.
Wilder was the ultimate golden retriever boyfriend—hot, sexy, funny, and full of heart. He was grounded, understanding, endlessly patient, and always there for Scottie. His loyalty extended not just to her, but also to his brother, which made him one of the most exceptional and genuinely beautiful characters I’ve read about in a long time.
Scottie’s journey through grief and healing after her divorce felt raw, simple, and incredibly endearing. I appreciated how Meghan portrayed her vulnerability and insecurities with such authenticity.
And let’s talk about the spice—Meghan Quinn knows how to write steamy scenes. They were not just hot, but also emotionally rich and perfectly woven into the storyline.
Excellent narration - hilariously funny, deliciously spicy, and packed with heartfelt moments

„Till Summer Do Us Part“ takes place in New York City, where Scottie moved after a divorce to start anew. To fit in at her new workplace, or how she likes to call it, the marriage cult, she tells her coworkers that she is married, but that they are struggling. But little does she know, her new bosses husband is the best marriage counselor in the Northeast and she secures an appointment with him for the failing pair. Her best friend kindly offers up the services of his brother as a fake husband, who agrees on the spot because he LOVES improv. What could possibly go wrong? Well, let me tell you: Being a little bit to convincing in their first session, they get invited to marriage camp and Wilder the ever helpful fake hubby he is agrees promptly to the ‘fun’. And the chaos unfolds…
The banter had me laughing so much I almost fell of my couch, the different kinds of relationships had me tearing up more than once because of their depth and importance to the characters and a personal favorite of mine was in what a positive light therapy and the importance of mental health was portrayed.
I loved Wilders and Scotties journey from being perfect strangers and fake married to a real connection with so much potential very much and cherished every second of it. Some themes in this book also lend a certain kind of depth and were handled with the kind of care I really wished more authors possessed.
This book had me hooked from the very beginning and the reason for that was not only the great storytelling but also the outstanding performance from Erin Mallon, Teddy Hamilton and Stephen Dexter who brought this story to life. I cried laughing and then I cried some more because there was so much feeling and all was due to this exceptional narration.
This was my very first book by Meghan Quinn and it certainly wasn‘t my last! So if you search for a great book this summer, take this one, because it definitely has the potential to become your favorite for this year!
A great summer romance that deserves more than 5 stars!
