We are 100 percent unable to see ourselves in the perspective of seven billion minds thinking thoughts all day long. To think that anything we come up with is new and original is astonishingly naive. To think that our particular opinion on any topic is the right one, the smart one, the educated one, is severely delusional.

Am relevantesten
I'm giving this a 5/5 even though I'm not convinced by every argument. For example the author suggests that thoughts aren't electromagnetic because thoughts can be quite slow at times while electronic signals travel at the speed of light. On the contrary I could write a computer program that runs very slow on a modern electronic device. However, basic ideas like thoughts being generated by an entity different than ourselves make a lot of sense to me and are both inspiring and useful for my daily life.
